
Upon opening the shaman interface there is a big totem button that almost everyone has forgotten exists, save for maybe some cheap survivor shamans. This is especially bad since the game has no tutorial for shaman, and the time spent in hard mode is critical to an understanding of it.Īnother thing is that I feel as though unlocking a shaman mode should feel like a great achievement, rather than a mild inconvenience, and that the lower modes should be frequented by a higher percentage of players. These things are only touched upon for a mere 4000 saves and then mice are thrown into v only mode. The problem is that hard mode introduces mice to many important aspects of shaman, such as the interaction between objects and different types of force, or counterbalancing builds. This results in the lower modes being neglected and forgotten very early on in a mouse's life. These are extremely small numbers, and as such players advance through shaman content rather quickly with active play. This means that the average user will be in easy mode for 1000 saves, and hard mode for 4000. Players unlock skills by leveling up with experience points, gained by gathering cheese and by helping other mice gather cheese as the shaman.The current requirements for divine mode are 5000 easy mode saves and 2000 hard mode saves. As skills in a tree are unlocked, other more powerful skills in that tree become available. These skills are collected into five different categories of shaman powers, called skill trees, which are Spiritual Guide, Wind Master, Mechanician, Wildling and Physicist. In addition to the controls and items available to all shamans, players choose skills as they level up. Use the hotkey 2 (or in some cases 4) with the process of W/↑.

While this is often done by a shaman (as they have full use of spirit), mice can do it as well with the aid of a shaman. Spirit jumping is a special combination of jumping while using spirits. Only one sign may be onscreen at any given time. Choosing an option will place a sign at that spot. Conversely, some maps grant temporary access to exclusive items, such as portals, which empower the shaman to solve that map's challenges in a special way. Some item types available include balloons, crates, planks, runes, and the shaman spirit-a shaman helps mice overcome obstacles like high walls, long gaps, and other hazards. In this mode, retrieving cheese as the shaman does not award experience points. In this room, the player is the only mouse and is always the shaman, except during no-shaman maps. Any player can practice their shaman skills at any time by entering the Training room.
